K-YUMYUM
Since I was young, I have often experienced traditional Korean snacks influenced by my family and have been curious about k- snack’s unique shapes, textures, and tastes.
I wanted to explore these curiosity about k-snacks through expression thro ugh my loving perspective.
I visualised Korean snacks, small yet rich in sensory experiences, not only through sight and visuals but also through hearing, sound, touching and textures.
Exploring traditional snacks that capture Korea's beauty and essence, I experienced immense joy and pride for my country.
As I experienced a wide range of emotions in the process of exploring snacks while working on this project, I hope that people will become curious about k-snacks by experiencing my artwork with traditional Korean snacks as a motif, and encourage a closer connection with them.
