Riso printed posters
Alphabet letterforms are made by modifying ear shapes. I was intrigued by the ear as a body organ due to its peculiar shape and hidden nature. Following this intuitive idea, I scanned people’s ears, including my own, and simplified the images in black and white. Then, I created the Roman alphabet from A to Z by selecting ear shapes that resembled each letter, with some modifications for better readability. Finally, I printed test posters using the Riso method, with each poster containing a sentence encouraging listening to one another.
